I love to garden. I'm an avid landscaper and I've got a lot of house plants, so that's always something else on my mind when I leave town. I put in a lot of time and effort into them, so the last thing I want them to do is die when I'm out of town.
You can always have a friend, relative or neighbor come by and water them for you, but that's not always necessary. It's always a good idea just to water them down really heavily before you leave town. And in this case, I've picked drought resistant house plants. This is a Christmas cactus and this is Aloe.
