The world's premier Chinese classical dance company Shen Yun Performing Arts kicked off the European leg of its world tour in Germany last weekend. The company then moved to Florence, Italy, where they held two shows. Our correspondent brings us this report from Florence.

After anchor:
All three of Shen Yun's companies are performing this weekend -- in Austria, Indianapolis and Melbourne, Australia.

The New-York-based Shen Yun Performing Arts has just finished two shows at the Theater of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino. Professional singers were among the people in the audience.

Among them, soprano Anna Di Gennaro.

[Anna Di Gennaro, Soprano]:
"The soprano, this voice is like a nightingale. They really have those voices that go to the sky, that can touch all the emotions of the body, the emotions of the mind, everything, everything."

It wasn't just the singing that impressed Ms. Di Gennaro.

[Anna Di Gennaro, Soprano]:
"Incredible. At the end of the show I would have jumped like the dancers. They've involved me, they were perfect. Everything was perfect: the music, the singers, the Chinese violin player. Nothing was out of place, everything was perfect, really, as the way of life, humanity and today's world should be."

Baroque singer Elena Biscuola enjoyed the Shen Yun Orchestra, with its unique fusion of Eastern and Western instruments.

[Elena Biscuola, Baroque Singer]:
"I noticed that the Chinese instruments dominated, even though there was a classical orchestra. Chinese instruments gave something particular and a special character to the overall show."
