Melbourne is known for being the food, fashion and culture capital of Australia. And this is where Shen Yun Performing Arts International Company continues the Australia leg of its 2011 World Tour. Some audience members who came to see the show at the city's historic Regent Theatre said the choreography was spectacular, but were sad that Shen Yun could not perform in China. Angela Anderson files this report from our Melbourne bureau.

I am here at Shen Yun Performing Arts' second show at the Regent Theatre in Melbourne, Australia.

The show, which presents Chinese classical dance and music, has theatergoers talking. Let's hear what audience members had to say about the show.

[Ms. Wite, Audience Member]:
"I could feel tears coming into my eyes, I was very moved."

[Amanie Faesal, Choreographer]:
"You got to come see it. Everyone's got to come see it."

[Ms. Mayall, Audience Member]:
"You've got color, you've got form, you've got action, you've got a lot of really lovely things just to go and see."

[Russell Brooks, Graphic Artist]:
"It was pure, it was beautiful, it was everything. All those different things rolled into one."

Melbourne is home to over 100 cultures. With such a variety of lifestyles, it's no wonder the people of Melbourne are passionate about food, the arts, and live theatre.

[Russell Brooks, Graphic Artist]:
"It was really impressive in how they compressed so many years of Chinese culture into such a small piece of time."

[Ms. Wite, Audience Member]:
"I would describe it as vibrant. It has a wonderful deep message of peace and of change, which is going right around our world at the moment. But I'm very impressed by it and the deeper message contained therein. Wonderful."
