After performing in Memphis, Tennessee, on Saturday, Shen Yun Performing Arts' New York company has moved to Little Rock, Arkansas (pronounced Ar-kan-saw). Shen Yun is the world's premier Chinese classical dance company, and has three companies simultaneously touring the globe. Our correspondent brings us this report from Little Rock.
Shen Yun Performing Arts held one show at the Robinson Center Music Hall in Little Rock, Arkansas on Monday night.
[John Durham, TV Station Founder and Artist]:
"This is my third time seeing the show so it's just breathtaking, always. And it's very spiritual. It's a teaching thing, if people open their hearts and minds and their spirits, they will learn greatness from the show, from how to stand, how to believe and to have greater faith. So many people should see it, people that missed it should see it."
[Mark Hayes, Lawyer]:
"The show is fantastic. It's incredibly well done, beautifully choreographed, terrific costumes, great story. It just couldn't be more entertaining. It's delightful, very, very worthwhile. I would recommend it to anybody."
[David Farmer, Federal Worker]:
"I thought it was a really really wonderful show. The color the music it was just outstanding. I can't believe anybody not walking away feeling all the grandeur and everything."
[David Hallin, Former Pilot]:
"I have been to China and seen some shows there, just very briefly and this was just very impressive."
