FuelCell Energy Up 4% After Signing Deal With Southern Calif

Shares of FuelCell Energy (FCEL) are higher in morning trading after the company announced before the open that it signed a contract with Southern California Edison Company (SCE) to provide a 1.4 megawatt (MW) DFC1500 fuel cell power plant. It will be installed as a utility-owned fuel cell on the campus of California State University, San Bernardino. Electricity generated by the power plant will interconnect into the existing SCE distribution grid. FuelCell shares are up 4%, or $0.07, to $1.82.
