Now moving on to golf. Tiger Woods talked about climbing his way back up the world rankings ahead of a major golf tournament in Dubai. Let’s take a look.

Former top-rank Tiger Woods held a press conference on Wednesday ahead of the 2011 Omega Dubai Desert Classic golf tournament.

The 35-year-old golfer has seen his place in the world rankings drop to third since taking time off to deal with his highly publicized marriage breakdown.

Woods told journalists he’s hopeful about getting back to top form.

    [Tiger Woods, Professional Golfer]:
“I still feel I can win golf tournaments. I'm not that old. I figure I've still got some years ahead of me.”

He goes into the Dubai Desert Classic third in the rankings behind Lee Westwood and Martin Kaymer.

Woods' recent result at Torrey Pines was his worst to start the season since he turned pro.

He added that it would take some time for him to clinch the top spot again because of the complete overhaul he's made to the movement and philosophy of his swing.

    [Tiger Woods, Professional Golfer]:
“It was good that I should play that event and have some of the things that came up swing-wise because as I said this is a new swing and new fixes, so some of the old fixes don’t work. That’s what takes time—is being able to identify it and know what the fix is going to immediately be and hit proper shots.”

Woods insists his game is coming together and it's just a matter of time before he wins his first tournament in over a year.

The Omega Dubai Desert Classic tournament is the first time in 17 years that a European tour event is fielding the world's top three players.

The tournament runs from February 10 to 13 at Emirates Golf Club.
