On Wednesday, authorities in India's Pune City arrested a suspected Pakistani spy from the state-run organization Inter-Services Intelligence.

Pune's commissioner of police says the 24-year-old resident of India's northern state of Haryana was under surveillance for some time.

"A suspected spy named Vishambhar Tarachand Agarwal has been arrested while some objectionable materials like hand drawn sketches of the southern army command, top rank military official's phone numbers and details, photographs of southern command, and a CD were seized from him."

Various state agencies along with federal agencies arrested the accused near a movie theater in the city.

[A.V. Osekar, Public Prosecutor]:
"Meanwhile, investigation would be conducted into whom he called from the mobile phone which was seized from him, who else is involved in this connection and what were they planning to do using the map."
