Popular X Factor judge Cheryl Cole is said to be snubbing the competition's contestants in a bid to be seen as a singer and not a judge.
Cole has allegedly asked organisers of The Brit Awards to seat her away from X Factor contestants such as Olly Murs and Alexandra Burke with a source adding: "Cheryl doesn't mean to be picky but she's asked not to be seated at the same table as Alexandra Burke or Olly Murs."
Cole rose to fame through reality show Popstars The Rivals, after which she performed as part of pop band Girls Aloud.
Reports suggest that the Geordie singer now wants to be recognised primarily for her solo music for which she is nominated for a Best Solo Artist and Best Single Brit Award.
Meanwhile, Cheryl's fellow X Factor judge Simon Cowell is said to be encouraging her to move next door to him in LA rather than with rumoured boyfriend Derek Hough.
