Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG E-CELL ready for the market 2013

In Detroit the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is literally larger than life. The poster covering the front of the old Ponchatrain Hotel, directly opposite the Cobo Hall spans 190 feet -- or 60 meters high. Equally impressive, is the line-up of green cars that Mercedes rolled onto the stage at the Mercedes-Benz press conference at the 2011 NAIAS in Detroit. The A-Class E-CELL already has gone on sale in Europe and the B-Class Fuel CELL is now available for lease in the US. Now Mercedes has announced that an electric version of the SLS AMG the SLS E-CELL will be available for sale starting in 2013.
