Matt Hardy is most known for being one half of the Hardy Boyz. The Hardys first got into the business when they created their own promotion, OMEGA. They later reached WWE, after years as working as jobbers for the promotion, getting a full-time contract in 1998. The Hardys would win world tag team titles seven times together, often in dangerous matches such as table and ladder matches. Matt also held the WWE Tag Team titles with MVP and held the U.S., European, Cruiserweight and Hardcore titles. In 2008, Matt reached the pinnacle of his WWE career when he won his first world championship, the ECW title. Matt left WWE in October 2010 to join TNA in 2011, immediately aligning with his brother. He would be released that year and has now semi-retired.
