In May of 2010, photographer Doug Klesch set out from Greensboro, NC, to travel the country and photograph strangers - 99 of them to be exact. He drove almost 9000 miles in 30 day seeking out willing participants, discovering small towns and back roads, interstates and cities, and everything in between. Klesch didn't intend of making short films, but the project seemed to demand it. So here it is - The 99 Americans Project.
The first book from the project is now available at http://www.blurb.com/bookstore/detail/1820308
