Barbara McNeil-Thompson is a practiced nurse and funeral director with a wealth of experience in a variety of fields. At Angelus Funeral Home, she offers bereavement services to those who have lost their loved ones. She is a past president of the Community Neighborhood Watch, a member of the California Funeral Directors Association, a former president of the local African American association, and a mental health counselor of the Sheriff’s Jail Unit in Los Angeles. In recognition of her achievements, she received a commendation of dedication award, outstanding leader in the community award, and a presidential award from the Psychiatric Health Practitioners of Los Angeles.
