Ramon Dekkers is a Dutch former professional kickboxer who was famous for being an 8 time Muay Thai and kickboxing world champion. From Breda, Netherlands. He was the most famous foreign kickboxer in Thailand in the 1990s. He was also the first foreigner to be bestowed the "Muay Thai Fighter of the Year" award.
In 2005, Dekkers was challenged to fight in K-1 Heroes, under Mixed Martial Arts rules. He fought Genki Sudo but lost by a heel-hook submission in the first round.
