In Pakistan's Quetta City, a suicide bomber has attacked a convoy carrying the chief minister of Baluchistan province. Nine people, including five policemen, were injured in the attack.

At least nine people were wounded in a suicide attack in Pakistan's Quetta City on Tuesday.

Five policemen were among the wounded, and the suicide bomber was killed in the attack.

The attack targeted the convoy of the chief minister of Baluchistan Province, who escaped unhurt.

The attack comes a day after suspected Taliban suicide bombers killed at least 40 people at the office compound of a top government official in northwest Pakistan.
