Joe McElderry sings two songs on the soundtrack of the latest Narnia film and said shooting the video for Someone Wake Me Up was 'quite distracting'.

The 2009 X Factor winner was drenched in water to depict the storm that happens in the film The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader.

"It's a huge storm and I'm singing in the middle of this storm, which you can imagine, having gallons of water poured on you with clothes on and wind and smoke blowing in your face, is quite distracting, so it took a quite a while", he said.

Joe met the Queen at the premiere of The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader in London and said it was "fantastic" to have been greeted by the Royal.

Someone Wake Me Up is available from 5 December.
