Cheryl Cole has reportedly been signed up by the Fox network to be a judge on the US version of X Factor.
The Girls Aloud star has apparently secured a one-year contract worth £3million for the role on the judging panel, after impressing executives from the network during the live shows last weekend.
Although Cole's representatives would not comment on the alleged deal, it is widely believed that Cheryl has the job 'in the bag'.
Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger is also rumoured to be joining Cheryl and Simon on the panel, having impressed Cowell as a guest judge on the UK version this year.
Filming for the US X Factor will reportedly commence in the spring to be broadcast in the run-up to Christmas.
