EA Narrows Loss on Strength in FIFA 11, iPad Games

Video game maker Electronic Arts (ERTS) said late yesterday it narrowed its fiscal second quarter loss, to $201 million, or $0.61 per share, compared to a loss of $391 million, or $1.21 per share, in the same quarter last year. Non-GAAP revenue declined 23%, to $884 million, better than analysts expected, and an adjusted loss of $0.10 per share beat analyst estimates as well.
