It's the royal engagement that's been nine years in the making. And now, the world follows every move Prince William and his bride to be Kate Middleton take as their wedding plans unfold.

The couple will celebrate their nuptials sometime during the British Spring or Summer next year. So where will the soon to be royal couple spend their honeymoon?

Ladbrokes, the British bookmakers say New Zealand has 20-to-1 odds to be the honeymoon destination. A keen sportsman, Prince William took a visit to the Island paradise this January, saying he'd really like to come back for the 2011 Rugby World Cup in October, which might fall near the time of the wedding.

New Zealand's Prime Minister, John Key expressed his delight of the Prince's news, and The Rugby World Cup says it would be fantastic to have the couple attend one of the world's largest sporting events.

New Zealand still faces some tough competition though for the top spot. It sits at number eight on the list, tied with Australia and the Maldives.
