Controversial X Factor contestant Wagner Carrilho will discover tonight if has made through to the next stage of the competition following an on-screen row with Cheryl Cole.
The Geordie judge hit back at the Brazilian performer on last night's live show after he made unfavourable comments about her council estate roots.
During an interview, Wagner said Cole was "just a girl from a council estate who got lucky".
Last night, the X Factor judge did not remark on Wagner's medley of Beatles hits Get Back, Hippy Hippy Shake and Hey Jude, but instead took the opportunity to hit back.
She told him: "I think you made some comments this week about me being from a council estate.
"I am very proud of my roots and I am very lucky."
Wagner, who was wearing a jacket similar to Sir Paul McCartney's on the sleeve of Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, tried to defend himself and said: "I didn't know the guy was a journalist.
"He asked me what I think of Cheryl and I said Cheryl is a role model for the young people of this nation because I believe she has lived on a council estate and so many people who live in a council estate don't believe they can achieve a better standard of living.
"You are incredibly talented and beautiful and you have the manners of a princess.
"You are now the most favoured woman in the whole country."
Later tonight Wagner will discover if he has made it through to the final seven acts of the show.
