Harry Potter superstar Daniel Radcliffe has confessed to feelings of loneliness after becoming the world's highest paid child star. The on-screen boy wizard has an estimated personal fortune of 40 million pounds.

Speaking of his experience as Potter, Radcliffe said: "It was slightly stressful at times in that it led to possibly feeling slightly lonely at times but you take the rough with the smooth and I've got an amazing job and it's a very well paid job".

Radcliffe compared parting with his magical alter ego with the break up of a relationship saying: "I suppose the thing it's most like is the ending of a relationship so we can say I've finished with him".

The former child star who has grown up over the course of shooting eight Potter films, said that alongside co-star Ruper Grint he wept on the last day of filming adding: "It was really weird seeing Rupert cry because I've never seen him cry. It was kind of a sense of god, what am I going to do now?"

Radcliffe is currently shooting horror film, Woman In Black.
