Shortlisted for three reports on the complicated story of inter-ethnic violence in Kyrgyzstank, Robin documents the chaos and tragedy of June 2010 when thousands of homes were destroyed and hundreds - at least - were killed.

Currently based in Almaty, Kazakhstan, Robin specialises in reporting the complex and changing politics of Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. His work has appeared on BBC World, APTN and Aljazeera.
