He may play someone who has retired in RED, but Hollywood actor Bruce Willis is no where near ready to put his feet up. In fact he says starring as a senior citizen took a leap of the imagination.

"It's a little bit of a stretch. It would be like if I were trying to play a 40-year-old in my 20s and then trying to play a 60-year-old in my 50s. It a novelty item," said Bruce.

The Die Hard legend, 55, appears alongside Richard Dreyfuss, John Malkovich, Morgan Freeman and Dame Helen Mirren in movie about a group of aging CIA agents.

He had high praise for British actress Dame Helen, who flexes her action muscles in the caper.

Bruce said: "She's quite a dame. Helen Mirren in a cocktail dress on a 50 calibre machine gun, full auto. Rock'n'roll!"
