“Some days I pause and think about what might happen”. Daydreams is one of Lizzie’s ongoing projects incorporating a series of observational thoughts. These 30-second short films are made predominantly with stills, then composited and animated.
The latest daydream, Manhattan 4.33pm has been selected as a finalist in Raindance’s Welcome to the Extraordinary short film competition and nominated in the Animation Award category at Rushes Soho Shorts Festival 2011. It’s received many world-wide views having been featured on Wired, Filmmakers to Watch on Film News Briefs, The Huffington Post, Gizmodo, Vimeo of the Week on The Sundance Channel.com, Creative Review and The Village Voice - and invited to play at a number of film festivals, including Berlin’s Short Film Festival and touring programme, and Boing Boing TV with Virgin American Airlines. It has also been invited to take part in ArtFutura 2012, at the Museum of Modern Art (Rio).
Daydreams have toured France with CineRail and the Britspotting programme in Berlin, and have featured on The Atlantic Magazine.
