Seizing on her popularity with conservatives, Sarah Palin is kicking off a 15-stop tour of the US, urging voters to give Democrats the boot this November.

Palin hit the campaign trail in Nevada - where conservatives are aiming to oust Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.

The Former Alaska Governor said: "Our message is we don't work for you anymore Mr. Reid, enjoy your retirement. We don't work for you anymore, Nancy Pelosi, you're fired. And Mr. Obama, and your czars, you're next. Because now we can see 2012 from our house."

Campaigning in Ohio with First Lady Michelle Obama for the first time since 2008, the president began his speech the way he's begin many speeches of late.

US President Barack Obama said: "This is a difficult election, this is hard and it's hard because we have been through an incredibly difficult time as a nation. We've gone through a tougher time than any time in the lifetimes of most of you."

Heading into November, Democrats are battling a stalled economy at an unemployment rate hovering near 10 percent.
