Kutterfisch - Fighting Overfishing | Made in Germany

The Cuxhaven fishing company Kutterfisch pursues an alternative business model which helps preserve fish stocks. They've dispensed with quotas and use wider-meshed nets than other fishermen. They're now having this business model patented.
The worldwide fishing industry is made up of some 3.5 million boats and 200 million fishermen. But whether it's cod and mackerel from the North Sea or Baltic, or tuna from the Atlantic, fish stocks have dwindled by 80 percent in the last 15 years.
