ANOTHER YEAR is Mike Leigh's eleventh feature film and marks his eighth collaboration with Lesley Manville, his seventh with Jim Broadbent and fifth with Ruth Sheen. The film also stars Oliver Maltman, David Bradley, Peter Wight, Phil Davis and Imelda Staunton. ANOTHER YEAR is the first Mike Leigh film to be produced by Georgina Lowe and other regular Leigh collaborators include Dick Pope (cinematography), Jon Gregory (editing), Jacqueline Durran (costume design) and Gary Yershon (music).

ANOTHER YEAR received its World Premiere at this year's Cannes Film Festival where it screened within the main competition.
