Katy Perry has poked fun at her Sesame Street video ban by wearing a very low-cut top with Elmo's face on it during an appearance on US show Saturday Night Live.

It comes after the 25-year-old singer's video with Elmo was pulled by producers following complaints from angry parents who saw it online.

With Katy dressed as a naughty schoolgirl with pigtails in her hair, a short tartan skirts and her revealing Elmo T-shirt, SNL host Maya Rudolph said: "Who cares if kids are looking at boobs - boobs feed babies, alright?"

After the sketch, Katy performed her hit single California Gurls.

Meanwhile in the UK, Katy's fiance Russell Brand was celebrating his stag-do with friends Jonathan Ross, Noel Gallagher and David Baddiel.

The day consisted of a trip to his beloved footballer club West Ham who beat Tottenham Hotspur followed by a visit to Stringfellows.
