Demi Moore is standing by her man.

Despite recent tabloid claims about Ashton Kutcher has had an affair, the actress joined her husband at a human rights summit to officially announce the new Real Men Don't Buy Girls campaign.

The Hollywood couple were speaking on behalf of their Demi and Ashton Foundation, which was established in early 2010 to end child slavery.

Ashton, 32, told the audience:

"The assumption is that slavery is a thing of the past, it ended with the Emancipation Proclamation with the Civil War with a lot of hard work and lives.

"The unfortunate truth is that there are more slaves in the world today, than ever before in human history. There are 27 million slaves in the world today."

The campaign aims to end human trafficking by raising awareness about child sex slavery and exploiting demand for child sexual exploitation and child pornography:

"Real men protect, respect, love and care for girls. Real men don't buy girls," Demi told reporters.
