On Saturday a Beijing writer was released on bail after 29 days in detention for publishing a book, titled "The Great Migration."
Xie Chaoping wrote about the plight of migrants during the Sanmen gorge project in the 1950's.
The book, tells of communist party officials embezzling funds that were supposed to go to migrant workers.
Plainclothes police officers took Xie from his apartment on August 19th.
One employee from the printing house where Xie's book was printed was also arrested.
Both men had been charged with what the regime calls, (quote) "illegal business operation."
