Second Hand Carpet - Where Does McMats Get It From?

This vid shows you where McMats Recycled N’ New Carpets get their carpet from. The boys have been in the biz for over 18 years and they are the fastest commercial carpet removalists to the point where they are considering bringing the Guinness Book of Records in to witness them score a world record attempt. Their best effort to date is 10km of carpet and 10km of underlay in 5 weeks.
They uplift the carpet, take it back to McMats where the cream of the crop is selected and handpicked. After purchase, all carpet is professionally steam cleaned in house. Any bits that are downgraded from the selected price range are sold out at $25 per metre or $50 per room or van mats or $10 stillage. Carpet sold between $35 & $40 + (a metre) McMats consider good enough to go into their own homes. 33.3% of carpet is unseen once a place is fully furnished, so carpet that has more colour variation and office chair wear, (sold for $25 per metre) still holds its own by the time the areas are occupied.
