Cheryl Cole has opened up about her divorce to England football star Ashley Cole in the upcoming issue of Vogue magazine.

The singer, who divorced the Chelsea player on Friday, said: "I accept that that's a chapter of my life that's finished. And I've just got to be grateful that I've got so many good things going on. I have. And there's no small children you know?"

It is the second time The X Factor judge has appeared on the front cover of the style bible. The coverted role as covergirl is usually reserved for top supermodels and A-list Hollywood stars.

The picture was taken just 24 hours before she was diagnosed with malaria.
