Directed by Jerry Stifelman, of Creato-Destructo Imagery. Thanks to James Hyatt, Donald Florence, Shay Stifelman, and Trace Oliveto for their help on the shoot. Special thanks to David Fernandez who let us use his home for shelter and warmth; to Leah who stood in the freezing snowfall holding an umbrella over the camera.; to Ari who endured the night without a jacket yet kept everyone's spirits up; to James for keeping things humming smoothly until the bitter end.
The concept of is simple — Ari leaves his cabin in the night, walking through the forest, picking up members of the band along the way. Unlike many music videos, this one was as much about mood as concept. We wanted to convey a vibe that was appropriate to the song and the band. There is a feeling of timelessness to Lost In The Trees' music. We wanted to be true to this by shooting under the light of the full moon aided only with candles. The idea was to make the "walk" to feel like it could have taken place 100 years ago.
