"The modern film has lost its ability to overwhelm its audience. Its spectacle is no longer spectacular, its dialog is no longer dialogic, its setting is no longer set. The pretentiousness of the film no longer knows its own meaning and thus the audience's disbelief is all to readily suspended." These are the words of Markus Uhl in his adaptation of the Ben Jonson Theatre Wars play, Poetaster, titled, The Arschlicker, performed in December 2009 at Golden Gai Arthouse Mae. The line concludes, "Fuck off, Cooper!"
