Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has said he believes his strengthened team can win the Premier League.
City face Tottenham in their season opener at White Hart Lane this weekend.
Mancini may do without the services of new signings David Silva and Jerome Boateng but still has a wealth of talent to choose from, including Yaya Toure and Aleksander Kolarov, who are set to make their debuts.
The club has not yet finalised deals with Mario Balotelli from Inter Milan and James Milner from Aston Villa.
The Italian stated that City are capable of winning the league this season and denied he is under pressure.
He said "I think that we built a good team, probably we need more time two or three weeks to put together because we never work together in the last two or three weeks, but I think it will be a good team."
