A nine-year-old Chinese boy has been rescued in dramatic fashion after getting wedged between two walls.
Both of the boy's parents were away from home when he became trapped in the 20-centimetre-wide gap.
Neighbours in eastern Zhejiang province heard him shouting for help and called rescue teams.
The solution to the boy's predicament was not immediately obvious, so it took some time to work out a strategy for freeing him.
Rescuers could not reach the boy and so resorted to sledge hammers and chisels to knock a hole in the wall and pull him to safety.
The boy was not seriously injured and was able to walk away from the scene to safety.
