July 25, 2010: “GET EXCITED”…I had a great time on June 26 taping 2 live TV shows with the Host of “GET EXCITED” Michael Crawford from AZ TV 7 (CABLE 13). We had guests originally from Canada – Dr Ross McArthur and Dr Joe Zoldos. The conservation was lively and the theme was health care – specifically; socialized Canadian style medicine, “Obamacare” and the direction the U.S. is going towards (socialized medicine). I also had a great opportunity to discuss what I would do if I am elected to Washington – a 2 step process. Step 1; to stop/slow down Obamacare as it is a bad bill that can take us to socialized medicine. Step 2; whether Obamacare passed or not, we still must get to the root cause of health care’s problems – COST. Out of all the candidates running in this U.S. Congressional race I am the only doctor running and it would make the most sense for me to be in Washington with an inside/intimate knowledge of what costs can be eliminated without affecting quality of care.
