Flood waters leave two stranded in Indian river
Raging flood waters left two fishermen stranded in the middle of a river on Monday near the Devari dam in India's central Madhya Pradesh state.
They were caught in flash floods in the Daksan River while fishing and perched themselves on a rock in the middle of a swollen river as they anxiously awaited rescue.
After being trapped for hours, district officials managed to organise a cable car to bring them safely ashore.
Several parts of northern India are reeling under floods following heavy monsoon rains.
