A special Royal exhibit has opened charting different aspects of the Queen at work.
The Queen's Year goes on display at the Queen's official London residence at Buckinham Palace ahead of its official Summer Opening.
The display recreates the royal calendar, including her appearance at the Trooping of the Colour ceremony, the State Opening of Parliament and Her Majesty's Christmas broadcast.
There are examples of what The Queen wears during the engagements in the royal diary and ceremonial objects and costumes that have been presented to The Queen as she has conducted her official duties.
One of the more light-hearted exhibits are ten of the hats worn from the past five decades of horse racing at Ascot - a sport that is a favourite of Her Majesty.
The Royal Collection includes among others, artworks, artefacts, historical documentation and textiles that are on public display at the main royal residences.
