On the 26th of June 2010, ACTED Kenya-Somalia held a “Tililio Kor” – Hygiene Day – festival in the Churo division of East Pokot, Kenya. An estimated 400 local community members attended the festivities, which included speeches, dances, plays and stalls focusing on promoting hygiene in captivating and innovative ways, as well as promoting awareness of ACTED’s agricultural and rangeland activities.
