Singer Cheryl Cole has reportedly stepped up security at her home in Surrey.
Cole who is currently recovering from a malaria infection she caught during an Africa holiday, is thought to have hired private guards as well as having security cameras and heat sensors installed around her house.
The singer was released from hospital a week ago, but is still bed bound as doctor have told her to rest until she fully recovers.
Her X Factor boss Simon Cowell said recently that Cheryl was on the mend and is planning to get back to work as soon as possible.
He told GMTV:
"I had a few text messages from her over the last few days. It was serious and she was ill. We didn't realise how ill, but judging by the text messages I've had, she's definitely looking forward to coming back to work.
"I think our job is to make sure she doesn't come back too quick 'coz I think she's bored out of her mind and going crazy."
