Metro Super SUV highlights: Lunching on the L.A. taxpayer.

It's lunchtime and the L.A. taxpayer's dime is the main main course.

This Metro SUV sat for more than a quarter-hour unattended with the engine running, doors unlocked and keys in the ignition. The Metro supervisor who left the vehicle unguarded was deep inside Olvera Street and failed to notice all the things that happened as well as what may have occurred despite being within sight of One Gateway, LACMTA's HQ (upper right, tall tan building.)

Metro raised its fares on 01 July 2010 and this appears to be what they are doing with the money: keeping SUVs fully air-conditioned for their well-fed supervisors!
