India's remote sensing satellite, Cartosat-2B, and three other satellites were successfully placed into orbit today. The Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle C-15, blasted off from its launch pad in Sriharikota. This is the first launch since the failure of the GSLV-D3 in April, 2010.
