Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter are Tim Burton's go to actors when it comes to films and it seems British director Christopher Nolan is building a similar dream team.
So far Sir Michael Caine has appeared in four of his movies, including his latest Inception, and he is likely to be cast in Nolan's third Batman film.
"We're very good friends. I like working with him and he likes working with the same people over again," said Caine, 77. "As you see in (Inception), he's got Ken Watanabe, Cillian Murphy and me and we starred in Batman Begins," he added.
"In this picture there wasn't really a part for me. So I said, 'what is there.' He said 'well there's three days, you're the father of Leonardo.' So I said, 'I'll do that'," revealed Caine.
The film follows Dom Cobb, played by Leonardo DiCaprio, who is part of a group that steals secrets from people's dreams. Caine plays professor Miles, who taught him the tricks of the trade. The British screen legend desribed DiCaprio as "very nice, very calm."
"He's a great guy," he added.
