Lindsay Lohan's lawyer has quit after the actress lost her court appeal and was sentenced to ninety days in jail.
Lohan has not taken the news well and has been tweeting that the punishment delivered by the judge is a violation of her human rights.
The star quoted articles form the U.N Universal Declaration of Human Rights in an effort to back up her claim, tweeting: " No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel inhumane or degrading treatment or punishment".
Her father is understandably upset and has said:"This is not the girl I raised. She has got to start all over again. Get off the prescription meds".
Lohan must surrender herself to The Century Regional Detention Facility in LA on July 22.
