Seeing double! Kim Kardashian gets own wax work

Kim Kardashian fans were seeing double at New York's Madame Tussauds as the reality star unveiled her new wax work.

"It is amazing, it's seriously a dream come true, just to even be at this museum amongst all these amazing people. When I saw her for the first time, it's pretty surreal" the 29-year-old model and businesswoman said.

To ensure the best likeness, Kim spent time with the museum's artists who took hundred of precise measurements and photos.

Kim is most famous for her family reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, which saw the fourth series bring in almost five-million viewers.

But Kim was keen to speak out about those who suggest she is simply famous for being famous:

"I pride myself on working hard. I'm a business store owner, I'm in the fashion world, so I think I have a longer list if I would tell you what I don't do as opposed to what I do do for a job. So people that say that in a negative way, you just kind of have to laugh because they clearly don't know anything about me or pay attention to what I really do."
