Lily Allen: I'm not too young to have a baby

Lily Allen has been chatting about feeling broody and wanting to start a family.

The 25-year-old, who recently announced she was retiring from showbiz for a few years to concentrate on having a baby, told Elle magazine:

"It's difficult as a woman who wants a family. Kids take up your whole life, particularly in the first two or three years. So it wouldn't be very responsible of me to commit to doing a world tour if I had a baby.

"I don't think I'm that young to have a baby. My mother had me when she was 23."

There are rumours that Lily and her boyfriend Sam Cooper may already be expecting with reports she did not drink at Glastonbury, apparently saying she has not touched a drop in over a month.

The Smile singer also told Elle that she has put on half a stone since finishing her last tour in March:

"I do pilates three times a week. I am still body-conscious but I'm not so concerned with it â€" I don't care as much."

Lily is currently the face of the Chanel handbag ad campaign and is also launching a clothes store with her sister which is due to open later in the year.
