"99 Francs" is french filmmaker Jan Kounen's critique of consumer culture, based on the book of the same title by Frédéric Beigbeder. It paints pretty well a pseudo-world, the world of advertising, in which they have to sell us any crap and where the morality is excluded. The only living principles there are money and quantity but not quality.
