    Very welcome Genia; this song was recorded with vocal too indeed, and the first contemporary version to this one coming to my mind is one by Bing Crosby. More recently, singers like Judy Garland, Peggy Lee, Lena Horne and Nina Simone also left their rendition. Personally I love Garland's, made in 1957, as well as the Horne performance corrie is referring to.

    My earlier comment has disappeared so I'll try again !! I have not heard this wonderful version of this great melody before, but this song has been a favourite of mine for many years. I do have Lena Horne doing it great justice. She puts so much feeling into it, and I am sure MoonLover would enjoy listening to it.Thank you for sharing this lovely post.
