Objects of Desire
"Sometimes the possessions we collect and cherish can trap us, arresting our minds and emotions. These feelings are illustrated by a dancer moving among the ghosts of her past, sorting through her closet and getting absorbed, trapped and confounded by her costume memories. They represent physical burdens such as clutter and hoarding as well as more emotional and mental burdens, blurring the line between the two."

Performed by Eden Kaill Fenrick on June 20th in Dufferin Grove Park in Toronto Ontario, this dance piece was part of the 8th annual Day of Delight: a festival of love, courtship and desire presented by Clay and Paper Theatre.
