Family Farm Schools: Schools for Life

IECD (European Institute for Cooperation and Development - www.iecd.org) is a French NGO created in 1988 whose public interest objective has been recognised officially (reconnue d'utilité publique). Convinced of emerging countries' ability to build their own future, IECD has been partnering local institutions for more than 20 years (providing them with technical, pedagogical, financial, and institutional support). Together they train men and women into becoming responsible actors of their own development.
In Cameroon and Côte d'Ivoire, thanks to vocational training in agriculture and rural management, the Family Farm Schools (FFS) enable young people to become rural entrepreneurs.
